ABOUT US

The Williamson Sangma Meghalaya State Museum is an entity under the Department of Arts and Culture, Government of Meghalaya. It is sanctioned and managed by the department. 

The Department of Arts and Culture, Government of Meghalaya is concerned with preservation work, documentation, research, promotion, development and augmentation of arts and culture across Meghalaya.

The newly opened building of the museum has been curated by the Northeast India AV Archive.
