Tiny Explorer Zone

The Tiny Explorers Zone was created to try and introduce children to the culture and heritage of Meghalaya in a way that would be exciting to them. Through the art, books and games provided in this section, we hope that children will get to experience a model of the beauty and majesty that Meghalaya has to offer in terms of its nature, culture and heritage.

As soon as one enters the Explorer Zone, they are introduced to the colorful murals of the various species of flora and fauna found in Meghalaya

We have provided facilities in the room for kiddies to rock climb, ladder climb as well as a model of the living root bridge. Children are also provided with books on the rich folklore from Meghalaya. 

This section was created with the thought in mind that the Museum must be accessible to people of all ages to be able to experience the Museum in their own perspective.
