Mesokani Dring
An Art Gallery
In this gallery, we step gently into the pulse of Meghalaya’s art, which breathes with the heartbeat of its people. Here, stories whispered through generations find their voices, and tales once elusive are brought to light in colours, lines and textures. This is not just a collection of works, but a gathering of voices, where each piece is a doorway to memory, myth, and the enduring spirit of the land. This gallery honours the techniques and processes that each artist has spent long years honing. Here, the artist’s journey is as sacred as the work itself.
Here, as we walk through time, we are not only spectators but also participants, woven into the narratives that hang upon the walls. These stories are not distant; they belong to all who listen, all who see, and all who feel the call to walk alongside. Through this space, Meghalaya lives on, in every tale told and every silence kept.

Faces from Home is an evolving journey—an intimate series of portraits capturing the quiet strength of women in my world. It all began on an August afternoon in 2015, with just a simple, spontaneous charcoal stroke on Nepali rice paper. That moment unravelled into a flowing tribute, growing now to over twenty strong faces. Each face is a testament, a living archive of women who have forged paths for their families and communities, breaking beyond what the world expected of them. More than mere portraits, they embody resilience and survival.
